Do you long for the serenity of the coast? Wish you could smell the salt air and feel the sand in your toes? - Me too!  I am excited every day to paint special scenes that take your mind on a coastal walkabout.  I enjoy painting realistic subjects that when paired with unique settings, can only be found in one's imagination. 
Blue crabs stealing treasure or dolphins eyeing sunken vessels are just some examples of the art I create.

As a former US Navy Submariner, I used to marvel at the interaction of mankind and nature. One day, while standing on the submarine deck while moored in Charleston SC, I observed a deer casually swim by and was fascinated to note the juxtaposition of a modern nuclear submarine cast against the backdrop of coastal marshes, flora and fauna; this experience and others like it have motivated my art - I especially like to depict scenes that hint at the presence of mankind in 
nature (or vice versa) and how the  indomitable spirit of nature always shines through. Vivid colors and subject detail are hallmarks of my work.
